"My wife and I recently sold our home in Carlsbad CA without listing or even preparing to list and we received a record high price for our neighborhood). As background, we purchased this home five years ago when we fell in love with the neighborhood and the amazing ocean views. "I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to work with Sandy Copeland. We hired her to sell our home after another realtor could not and she was the consummate professional with some very difficult situations. First, she was dealing with my ex-husband who was being very difficult and unreasonable. Second, while my home was very clean, it was a bit dated and we were not updating it to sell it. Lastly, we had a major obstacle that affected our home…we had a 50 foot SDGE power pole directly behind our home. "We received Sandy’s information in the mail and interviewed her along with several other agents to sell our home in La Costa Ridge. But, this was not your average La Costa Ridge home sale as we had what could be perceived as a little issue/problem behind our home. Our home backed to the waste water reclamation plant outside the back gate so we knew we needed to hire someone special to help us. Sandy presented us with a very detailed analysis in how the home needed to be presented and how the water treatment plant needed to be dealt with. "Interesting how we found Sandy. My dad had actually visited an open house of Sandy’s in his neighborhood about 8 months before he passed away. He got one of her cards and told his girlfriend that none of the normal realtors who sold in that neighborhood ever did as nice a marketing presentation of the home as Sandy had done.
